Been wrenching on this bastard since 6:30. Just got it to a point where I can take a shower and go to sleep. Got held up big time by the brakes. My caliper bracket broke a bolt off inside the metal, so I welded some steel to it and made it a stud, then the caliper piston wouldn’t go back in so I had to go rent a caliper tool from Autozone. But it’s done, there are now Miata stock front springs on the back of the Nissan. They’re pretty damn soft, definitely not sporty, but whatever. They’ll do for now. Just gotta put the rear seats back in, the new fuel pressure regulator, and lift the front suspension up an inch and a half or so and the car will be good to go and pretty damn solid.
I am so tired

Why so much work?

Because it’s a broken-ass car.

Raise the front? But it passes the shoe test so well! What’s the plan? One buck rally-X?

The coilover sleeves that are on it bottom out on the strut mount because they’re cranked down too low. Also, the rear is fixed height and would look goofy with the front lowered and the rear at stock height.
